Marchington Music Club

Due to holiday plans there is a change in the advertised band this week, HEADSTICKS are sadly unavailable but the void is filled by a guy of great pedigree KEV ANDREWS who we had ear marked for a slot next year but has kindly agreed to bring him forward and fill this date.

Kev and I go way back and has been a mainstay on the Derby Scene as long as I can remember and is a superb guitarist and the man behind the discovery of Derby Talent JAMES MORRISON and we all know what happened to him!

BRYAN ADAMS/BLONDIED

Great night on Saturday, I thought the Bryan Adams Experience were very good indeed and the impersonation was fantastic!

Turning our sights to the next one-BLONDIED (Blondie tribute band)Saturday 11TH FEB 2017 !!

WE’LL EAT AGAIN!

Thursday November 10th as part of the Fund raising campaign to help assist in repairing and maintaining our village Alms Houses.

We have around 45-50 seats for this sit down 2-course Dinner event with entertainment 40’s style from JOHNNY VICTORY and a fiver from every meal sold will go to the fund and there will be a raffle on the evening, doors 7.00 pm.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE EXPLAINED

We have been swamped with requests for a Christmas Fayre menu and as I have tried to explain we will continue the policy we had last year!

There isn’t one per say, we will be adding the Statutory Christmas Turkey Dinner and various Christmas desserts to our specials lists!

This is based on past experience where we have had set various course menus that have met with, I only want one course, I only want this and that………so by doing the menu this way people can choose and pay for what and as many dishes that they want.

The Lunchtime menu will have Christmas Turkey dinner that will be a couple of pounds more supplement.

This all commences around the last weekend in November.

FISH NIGHT

As always the last Friday of every month and will be the case in October and November (we have December off!)
