This coming Sunday powerhouse R’n b Leicester outfit ROCKET 88 return for an annual workout!

Earlier than their usual Christmas Slot as Christmas has fell a tad funny this year but who cares you know how good they are and they always deliver, it’s worth turning up just to see lead singer Jono go through the motions!

Fun starts around 5.30 pm , come early to reserve your seat!

CAR WASH –THE ULTIMATE 70’S DISCO PARTY

MARCHINGTON VILLAGE HALL SATURDAY 23RD DECEMBER

We hatched a plan here at D&P towers to create a annual, close to Christmas party to raise funds for local needy parties!

It occurred to us that the Village Festival this time could benefit from a leg up considering a grant wouldn’t be available this year to help with the proceedings - but wanting to maintain the standards to make 2018 equally as successful.

A few well placed events between now and then would help to ease the financial burden of funds needed to run the next one!

In the 90’S, CARWASH club nights were all the rage and we thought we could revive that fad all over again!

Excellent Dudley based 70’s disco tribute act BOOGIE SHOES will provide over two hours of 70’s classics and in between DJ MOONSHINE will provide the rest of the night’s musical content!

Tickets are a tenner, with all profits from the event going to the VILLAGE FESTIVAL FUND, and a donation from the Bar proceeds too!!

Tickets will be available shortly, let’s make this (in the words off Shalamar) A NIGHT TO REMEMBER!!! (And if all goes well we’ll do it again next year!

Filling the last slot on the new flyer, we are well chuffed to get our hands on the UK’s top Stereophonic tribute band, the Stereo-sonics (endorsed by the real items too!!).

You requested a Jam tribute, we got you one, one of the best in the UK, and to top it all local heroes THE SHELTER will provide the support.
