MARCHINGTON MUSIC CLUB (SUNDAYS FROM 5.30PM)
Plays host this weekend to…… TV SMITH!
TV Smith, one of the punk originals and former front man of the Adverts plays a double header at Uttoxeter and Marchington on 16th & 17th September.
Starting at the OLD STAR on 16th, TV is part of PUNK UTTOXETER along with a fantastic line up, followed by an acoustic session at the Dog and Partridge on 17th.
TV Smith would be no stranger to anyone who loves the punk and alternative scene and with over 40 years in the business Tim has many studio albums and singles to his name with the Adverts, with other bands and now as a solo artist. Albums such as Crossing the Red Sea and singles such as Gary Gilmores Eyes, No Time To Be 21, One Chord Wonders and Bored Teenagers would stir memories of the punk scene in the late 70's but more recent works such as Only One Flavour, Lion and the Lamb, The Day We Caught the Big Fish and the Immortal Rich have attracted notable acclaim.
TV Smith has appeared on TV on several occasions, recently as part of the BBC's Punk Britannia series and in a BBC4 documentary on the Adverts. TV is a very sociable chap, he'll be selling merchandise at both events so come along and listen to a Punk Legend and afterwards you could catch up with him for a chat about the classic punk scene or his acoustic works.

Tickets sales are hotting but over a third of the way for the Pink Floyd tribute in December and half way there for KEEP IT CASH Johnny Cash tribute in October!
