Ok hands up……………. Yes the date was wrong on the flyer for the CHEESE TASTING NIGHT this coming Thursday 26th May, we put the 28th !
Well it’s definitely this Thursday from 6pm!
You will get the opportunity to try out new extensive range of Cheddars we have added to our new Cheese Board range which will be on offer throughout our opening times.
Select three cheeses from the list and a chutney from our range of around five or six, add crackers and butter and you have a cracking Board.
For the small sum of £5.50. We hope these will prove a winner anytime but in particular throughout the Summer on our patio (if we get a Summer that is??)
So thank you for pointing out the error of our ways, but without wanting to promote a flood of “well done you have everything correct”, isn’t it strange that this never happens when everything is spelt or dated right??? :-)

STOP PRESS………….NEW OPENING HOURS!
Effective from this coming Saturday we will now be open ALL DAY on Saturday for both food and drink, so if you fancy a cheese board or a full meal on the patio (weather permitting )you can!!!!!!
TAPAS

Marchington Music Club
New flyer is available, pick one up- it highlights all the Sunday gigs between now and October, a good helping of regulars and a lot of first timer-newcomers too, just like this coming Sunday when we get a visit from MAIA. (5.30pm)
Described as psychedelic folk all the way from LEEDS, dropping in as part of a UK tour and playing some major festivals this year!
We have been fortunate to get them, come along and see this lot before they immediately outgrow us!!

I think we might just make our target, remember any surplus will go to the beloved local shop fund, so give this event your support !
Doors open 7.30 pm, the band will do two sets expected on stage around 8.45pm.
Sadly no chip van this time, so have your tea before you come out to prevent you moaning to me that you are hungry (crisps and nuts only this time!!)

AMERICAN FESTIVAL WEEKEND
Over the next few weeks expect articles, biogs, photos etc for the acts appearing at our AMERICANA FESTIVAL on the weekend of JULY 1st to 3rd.
Some great entertainment over the three days and it’s ALL FREE!
We are pledging the first £300 of beer sales to our beloved shop fund to help with the proposed refurbishment, so come along do us a favour and we’ll do the shop a favour!
