RingByName has the ability to transfer a call on screen through R! Call Information Pop-Up Window without ever needing to touch your desk phone. This functionality makes your life easier, so you can continue to work on your computer without missing a beat. Learn how to increase your productivity with R! How Does It Work?
Whenever you receive an incoming call, dial an outbound number on your VOIP phone, or use our ClickToCall feature, a call control window will pop-up on your screen in the RingByName web application. In addition to identifying your inbound caller or outbound contact, the Call Pop-Up Window allows you to transfer a call to another extension or phone number without having to use your desk phone. Depending on your needs, there are two types of transfers you can do, Unattended and Attended Transfer.

How To Transfer An Unattended Call
When the Call Pop-up appears on your screen, you need to: Press Transfer - Type or Search the name, phone number or extension of the person you want to transfer to
- Select the phone number highlighted in blue
- Press End to complete the transfer

How To Transfer An Attended Call
When the Call Pop-up appears on your screen, you need to:
Type or Search the name, phone number or extension of the person you want to transfer to Select the phone number highlighted in blue Wait for the person to answer and speak with them to announce the caller Press End to complete the transfer
