Call Control for Your Inbound & Outbound Calls
Whenever you receive an incoming call, dial an outbound number on your VOIP phone, or use our ClickToCall feature, a call control window will pop-up on your screen in the RingByName web app. In addition to identifying your inbound caller or outbound contact, the Call Pop-Up Window allows you to easily access and edit contact information, add additional notes, mute call audio, place the caller on hold, start or stop call recording, and end the call.

Call not muted (default status) |

Muted Call - When enabled, no audio will be transmitted from you to the caller. |

Call not on hold (default status) |
|
Call on hold - When enabled, your customer will be placed on hold and your company's hold music will play. To retrieve the call, simply press the hold button. |

Call not being recorded. The default status of your call recording is set by your system administrator and may depend on the department, or whether the call was received on a personal number. Press the button to toggle the recording status and begin recording.

Returning to the Call Pop-Up During a Live Call

If you have navigated away from the call pop-up window, a button will appear at the upper left-hand corner of the header bar.
