Our next Song Studio class is with Stephanie Smith and acting coach Caitlin Lushington (March 27th). This class will focus on embodying and communicating the story of your song, and we'd love to see you there!

CLASSES

Song Studio is an opportunity for our community to come together through singing and provide a supportive environment to practice performing. After a period of group singing and warm-up, this class focuses on individual performances from students. Song Studio is available as a class option for Premiere Plan members.

Taught by performance coach Stephanie Smith, Performance Practices is a class that helps you navigate the art of performance.

In this class, you will learn:

Ways to manage performance anxiety.
How to communicate with your audience.
How to set yourself up for success as a performing artist.

All levels and all styles are welcome in this class.

Single classes: $40/class.

7-week series: $280/series.

March 18th

Join us for our next studio gathering: songs collected around the theme of "Memories," and featuring our SoulSinging groups, students, and staff.

Our Studio Gatherings are an opportunity for our students to perform for each other, to share what they are learning in their music lessons, and for friends and family to support their loved ones. They are also a great opportunity for those new to our studio to come see what we're all about! Audiences will be invited to join in on the sing-a-long songs.

WHEN: Wednesday March 18th at 7pm
WHERE: Resound NW, 1532 SW Jefferson St
WHO: Friends & family of our singers are most welcome, as is the general public. Our concerts are a great opportunity for prospective students to come and see what we do!

James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim explore the darker side of “Happily ever after” in the timeless and ever-relevant Into the Woods. Beloved storybook characters collide as this tangled tale weaves together the stories of a childless Baker and his wife, Cinderella’s quest for love and Jack’s journey to giant-slaying fame. With its rich blend of humor, heartache, and unforgettable melodies, Into the Woods reveals that even the most familiar stories hold unexpected twists and profound lessons.

Lani Fukuzawa stars in "Ring Them Bells" on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Resound NW: A Place to Sing in Portland, Oregon. Presented in three acts, "Ring Them Bells" illuminates living, loving, and being in community as an antidote to turbulent times. All of the proceeds from this ticketed show go to support the education fund for Sky's junior year in high school. Doors open at 1:30 pm. Resound instructors Courtney Freed and Stephanie Lynne Smith are featured!

"A Satirical Cocktail: Tribute to Tom Lehrer" | Early Bird Tickets close March 15!

Welcome to All Classical Radio's Irving Levin Performance Hall for a musical tribute to the great Tom Lehrer. Bob Sterry will sing a selection of his songs with additional numbers from Randy Newman, Jacques Brel, Jake Thackray, Flanders and Swann. Stephanie Lynne Smith joins Bob on piano and humor. Celebrated Portland poet Emmett Wheatfall will intersect with his poetry.
