NEW STAFF: ABBY BUCHANAN

We're delighted to introduce Resound co-founder Abby Buchanan to our teaching staff!

Abby teaches musicians who want to learn to self-accompany, develop their ear training, read music, or practice harmonizing. Abby draws on her background in early childhood development, including decades of experience working with neurodivergent students, to create an atmosphere that is playful and engaging for kiddos and adults alike.

STUDIO EVENTS

Sunday October 12

We are delighted to introduce our very first Open Mic event! Come by the studio to offer a self-accompanied or a cappella song to a warm and supportive audience. This is a great opportunity to flex your performance muscles, particularly if you are working on singing while playing an instrument, or learning to sing a cappella, as there will be no accompanist provided.

Cover charge for performers and audience alike is $10, and snacks and drinks will be available. Come & sing your heart out!

WHEN: Sunday October 12th from 4-5pm

WHERE: Resound NW (1532 SW Jefferson, Portland)

TICKETS: $10 cover.

CLASSES

Song Studio is an opportunity for our community to come together through singing and provide a supportive environment to practice performing. After a period of group singing and warm-up, this class focuses on individual performances from students. Song Studio is available as a class option for Premiere Plan members.
