BONUS! We are excited that this event is part of Make Music Day PDX, a collection of concerts happening city-wide in a variety of venues. In addition to our concert from 5:00-8:00pm, Resound NW will be filled with free live performances all day! Come hear a variety of fun and inspiring music at Resound from 10:00am-4:30pm.
About Make Music Day PDX Make Music Day PDX is an event for people who love music and the joyous sense of community it fosters. Make Music Day PDX grew out of the Fête de la Musique, which originated in France in 1982 and is gaining traction in a number of American cities.
A celebration of all music played by and enjoyed by people of all stripes, Make Music Day PDX is a call to participation: Music for the People, By the People. It is an invitation to all musicians, amateur as well as professional, to share music on or near June 21st every year. We invite everyone to show up and enjoy the music!

Resound NW Rentals
Did you know the Resound NW studios are available to rent? Our facility is a beautiful, diverse, and flexible community arts and event space ideally suited for a variety of uses.
Our centrally-located building has 4 studios available to rent for:
*Classes
*Lessons
*Workshops
*Performances
*Business meetings
*Parties
*And so much more!

We offer rentals for single events and ongoing uses with daytime, evening, and weekend availability at reasonable rates. Building amenities include: kitchenette, bathroom, waiting rooms, water coolers, tea, and free street parking.

| News from Our Staff
*Nicholas Meyer will be performing the title of Figaro in "The Marriage of Figaro" at the Aquilon Music Festival July 1 - 22.
*Claire Hudkins is serving as the Administrative Director of the Vocal Apprentice Artist at the Astoria Music Festival this month, which will include performances of Tosca and The Marriage of Figaro.
*Daniel Buchanan will be performing "Seven Deadly Sins" by Kurt Weill with the Oregon Music Festival July 14. |

Upcoming Song Studio Classes
"Song Studio" is a performance class where Resound NW students perform a song they have prepared and receive valuable coaching on their performance. The class includes a mini-lesson for each student plus a professional pianist to accompany them.
This class is fun, low-key, and an exciting way to learn about the craft of singing!
