The next Song Studio is Friday May 29th! Come join a fun, informal gathering where you can practice singing for an enthusiastic group and get feedback from Stephanie Smith and Daniel Buchanan. To join, fill out the form on our website, here. Summer classes announced soon.

There are still a few spots available for the May 12 Performance Practices class! if you're looking to cultivate confidence and presence in your performance, this class is for you. Learn more below.

STUDIO GATHERINGS

May 3 from 2-5pm

Join us for our next studio gathering, featuring our private students and staff!

Our Studio Gatherings are an opportunity for our students to perform for each other, to share what they are learning in their music lessons, and for friends and family to support their loved ones. They are also a great opportunity for those new to our studio to come see what we're all about! Audiences will be invited to join in on the sing-a-long songs.

Good things to note:
WHEN: Sunday May 3rd from 2-4p
WHERE: Resound NW 1532 SW Jefferson St.
WHO: Friends & family of our singers are most welcome, as is the general public. Our concerts are a great opportunity for prospective students to come and see what we do!
TICKETS: Free! No registration required, just come!

CLASSES

Song Studio is an opportunity for our community to come together through singing and provide a supportive environment to practice performing. After a period of group singing and warm-up, this class focuses on individual performances from students. Song Studio is available as a class option for Premiere Plan members.

Taught by performance coach Stephanie Smith, Performance Practices is a class that helps you navigate the art of performance.

In this class, you will learn:

Ways to manage performance anxiety.
How to communicate with your audience.
How to set yourself up for success as a performing artist.

All levels and all styles are welcome in this class.

One-off classes: $40/class.

7-week series: $280/series.

Are you a performer? Do you like nerdy science facts about your body? Do you get exhausted sometimes by the non-stop hustle and grind of doing the thing you love and that makes the world a better place but also you sometimes feel trapped in a socio-cultural system designed to burn you out and de-value your craft? 😮‍💨

Your body is your instrument and there is one system in your body which impacts nearly every aspect of being a performer – your autonomic nervous system! Understanding how to work with your nervous system can deepen your versatility as a performer and is absolutely critical for sustaining a nourishing career in this buckwild world of ours.

This workshop aims to be a fun and dynamic blend of cool science facts, solo journaling / reflection work, and partnered prompts.
