Come join us for our spring Studio Gathering! Held at our lovely studios in the Goose Hollow neighborhood of Portland, our Studio Gathering is an opportunity for our students to share their talents and our community to come together. It is FREE and open to the public. Potluck will be provided by our staff and performing students. Wine and beer are permitted. Friends and family of all ages are welcome! Ping & Woof Opera was founded in Portland, OR in 2015 by soprano Jocelyn Claire Thomas (Ping) and mezzo-soprano Rebecca Sacks (Woof). They are dedicated to bringing intimate and accessible opera experiences to the Portland-area community, and making opera available to everyone through donation based admission. Past productions include Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel (2015), the Opera Highlights Concert (2015), Mozart’s Così fan tutti (2015), Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro (2016), Brahms’ Liebeslieder Walzer (2017), Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater (2017), Handel’s Orlando (2017), Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortileges or “The Child’s Frightful Fantasy” (2017), Liedertag - An Afternoon of Song, Cake, and Coffee (2018), and Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci (2019). Ping & Woof Opera has collaborated with Necessity Arts Collective, Dragon Theater Puppets and Princesses, and the Coulter Concert Series. They have also been featured several times by All Classical Portland 89.9, performing at their summer open house in 2018, and also live on the air on as part of the Thursdays @ Three program in 2016 and again in 2019. | We offer rentals for single events and ongoing uses with daytime, evening, and weekend availability at reasonable rates. Building amenities include: kitchenette, bathroom, waiting rooms, water coolers, tea, and free street parking.

| | Upcoming Song Studio Classes
"Song Studio" is a performance class where Resound NW students perform a song they have prepared and receive valuable coaching on their performance. The class includes a mini-lesson for each student plus a professional pianist to accompany them.
This class is fun, low-key, and an exciting way to learn about the craft of singing!
