There are still a handful of spots left for our Song Studio Class on December 12th! This class is co-taught by Stephanie Smith and acting coach Caitlin Lushington.

STUDIO EVENTS

Wednesday December 17th

Join us for our 12th annual Holiday Sing-Along Spectacular! This is a joyous, music-filled event featuring performances from Resound NW students, staff, and SoulSinging groups, and plenty of opportunities for you to join us in singing all your holiday favorites!

Our set-up is a little different than our usual Studio Gatherings, so please read on for the details of this event!

FOOD: Food is provided by the venue at this event. In order to help cover costs, we ask that both performers and friends/family chip in by purchasing a food voucher. Food includes a pizza buffet with Caesar salad, as well as options for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan folks.

FOOD VOUCHERS: Food vouchers are $18 for adults and $11 for kids 10 and under. Vouchers will be available to purchase December 1st.

DRINKS: The price of your voucher does NOT include drinks but they can be purchased separately.

CONCERT: The concert will be performed in two sets. You can choose to attend either set, but due to space constrictions, please only choose 1 set to attend.

SET 1:
Doors open at 5:00p
Music starts at 5:45p
Music ends at 7:00p
Audience 1 exits.

SET 2:
Doors open at 7:30p
Music starts at 7:45p
Music ends at 9:30p
Audience 2 exits.

CLASSES

Song Studio is an opportunity for our community to come together through singing and provide a supportive environment to practice performing. After a period of group singing and warm-up, this class focuses on individual performances from students. Song Studio is available as a class option for Premiere Plan members.

Featuring Stephanie Smith as pianist

Having honed his musical storytelling ability by appearing on Broadway (i.e., Phantom of the Opera, Marie Christine w/Audra McDonald, and Jane Eyre), national tours (i.e., Les Miserables, Falsettos, and The Who's Tommy), and numerous leads in regional theaters across the country (BATCC awards and nominations), Michael sings with a style that blends dramatic power with a warm, vulnerable presence. Inspired by songs that portray complexity and emotional depth, he embraces the gray areas that are part of being human and the beauty of imperfection. Guided by a love of classic artistry and authentic storytelling, Michael brings both timeless elegance and heartfelt sensitivity to his performance.

Perhaps the children – and a few magical Brownies – have the answer! A tale told with the music, story, and dance of Scotland.
