John O’Brien, Founder of The Jubilee Hour passes on thanks from Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street to Jubilee Hour Supporters for their generous donations of time. Re:locate magazine spearheaded the initiative for the relocation sector and is continuing the ‘Gift of Time’ Initiative in 2013.

“Her Majesty is well aware of the great effort that has been applied to this and she has asked that her thanks and good wishes be passed on to all those who have so generously volunteered their time. It was the Queen’s hope that her diamond Jubilee would provide an opportunity for communities, groups and individuals to come together in a way that they would not otherwise be able to do, and there is no doubt that your initiative has made a notable contribution to achieving this ambition.”
Edward Young LVO Deputy Private Secretary to The Queen

“The “Jubilee Hour” campaign is a fantastic way in which we can all recognise and celebrate Her majesty’s lifetime of service to the nation. So far over 2 million hours of volunteering have been pledged. To see people giving up their time in this way is truly inspiring. It says something about who we are as a people and sends an incredible message about the UK’s spirit of goodwill and gratitude to the rest of the world”.
Rt. Hon David Cameron Prime Minister
