
After months of anticipation, the winners of the Re:locate Awards 2013/14 were presented with their trophies at this year’s fabulous Gala Awards Dinner on Wednesday 14 May. Guests represented blue-chip companies and household names, as well as businesses and professional bodies from across the relocation spectrum. Full report below. Through his entertaining and informative after-dinner speech, host and guest speaker John Simonett reflected and reinforced Re:locate’s key themes of engagement, creativity and innovation, motivation, and making connections, as he skilfully combined the latest thinking from neuroscience and psychology with real-world business applications.

The winners of the Re:locate Awards 2013/14, which recognise and reward talent from across the relocation and global mobility spectrum, were announced and presented with their trophies at a special black-tie event held at the Institute of Directors, in London’s Pall Mall, on Wednesday 14 May.
Nearly 200 guests from across the relocation spectrum – including HR professionals and suppliers – networked the night away as they awaited the announcement of the winners.

The Re:locate Awards 2013/14 saw a continued rise in the standard of entries, according to our judging panel of independent experts. Said Re:locate‘s managing editor, Fiona Murchie, “With increasing globalisation, the need for mobility is also growing, so it’s no surprise that this year saw hot competition across all categories and continued growth in overseas entries. “Our four new categories for 2013/14, which covered the key areas of immigration, financial support, health and talent, were very well supported.” She added, “It’s clear that, when compiling their submissions, many entrants took inspiration from the judges’ comments on previous years’ winners and our series of awards newsletters and webinars.
