This Friday, 18 February, is the deadline for entering this year’s Re:locate Awards, so it’s time to submit your entry and get the recognition you deserve. Both HR and service providers from across the profession, from organisations of all sizes, are invited to enter.

For HR professionals. Have you adapted your policy to reflect the current climate or introduced a policy to cope with short-term assignments? For HR professionals and suppliers. Your innovation can be anything from a relocation management software system to niche products for providing cross-cultural training or any aspect of managing global assignments.

For suppliers and specialists. This category is open to all suppliers and specialists, with three sub-categories – large, small and specialist – so whether you’re a large relocation company or a niche service provider, why not give it a go?

5. Best Property Provider or Solution – Sponsored by Fully Furnished

For suppliers of any size, UK and internationally based. This category pays tribute to the key part which property, in the widest sense, plays in relocation. Whether you’re in destination services, residential lettings or sales, or serviced accommodation, this one’s for you. Furniture rental companies, property finders and other niche providers are also welcome to enter.

6. Rising Star in Relocation – Sponsored by Roomservice by CORT

For HR professionals and suppliers. Perhaps someone in your team is exceptionally talented, and you want to nurture and reward them. Or maybe your company has come up with an idea for a new service and is bringing it to the market successfully. If so, tell us!

7. Relocation Personality of the Year – Sponsored by SIRVA Relocation

For HR professionals and suppliers. This award recognises someone who has contributed to relocation or managing international assignments over a long and distinguished career, or someone who has ‘gone the extra mile’ for the good of the industry. If you know someone who deserves this award, please put them forward by completing a simplified entry statement.

8. Green Achievement – Sponsored by Connells Relocation Services

For HR professionals and suppliers. This award celebrates an organisation that has excelled in environmental initiatives and practices – perhaps by having green buildings and facilities, empowering staff to become greener, using renewable energy, reducing and/or recycling waste, and/or implementing green travel and transport policies. You don’t have to be totally ‘green’ to enter! We want to hear about your ‘journey’.

9. Excellence in Employee & Family Support – Sponsored by Smart Move

This award is open to individuals and organisations, from any sector, that provide a specialist service to relocating employees and their families. Education consultants, schools, childcare services and immigration consultants, plus providers of language tuition, cross-cultural support and concierge services, are just some of the specialists eligible to enter.

10. Best International Destination Services Provider – Sponsored by NatWest Global Employee Banking

This award recognises quality and professionalism in the provision of destination services. It is open to all individuals and small companies (up to and including 20 employees) in this field.
