Dear Red Brush Members,
Warrick County has issued an immediate burn ban. Conditions are exceptionally dry. Fires are easily started and can quickly spread.
In alignment with this ban, the use of tracers and incendiary rounds is now prohibited at the range. Also, when using steel targets, please verify that your ammo is not generating sparks.
There is a fire extinguisher next to the door in the members room for emergency use. If used, please report it as soon as possible so it can be recharged.
Release: COUNTY-WIDE BURN BAN - The Warrick County Board of Commissioners, in order to prevent unreasonable fire hazards during unusually dry weather periods, and pursuant to the Warrick County Board of Commissioners' Ordinance No. 2008-10, Open Burning Ordinance, hereby declares an Open Fire Emergency. This Open Fire Emergency shall be in force until such time as revoked by the Board of Commissioners. This Open Fire Emergency is in effect for all unincorporated areas of Warrick County, 24 hours per day, for 7 days. |
