Warrick County has issued a shelter in place warning:

9/6/25 6:15 pm: The shelter in place has been expanded to include all of Southeastern Warrick County. Residents are asked to stay indoors and keep windows and doors closed. HVAC systems should also be turned off.

Henderson County EMA has advised all residence in Baskett, Spottsville, Reed, Hebbardsville, Niagara, Zion, and Robards to turn off HVAC units and keep windows and doors closed.

This is due to a chemical fire on Vann Road. The wind is pushing the smoke SSE, which points it out of Newburgh and squarely at the range. Please do not go there until this is cleared.
