Spun Out is coming next year, and it's available to pre-order!

The ebook of Spun Out has already had more preorders than any of my other books at this stage.

But, I have an announcement…I am selling it for £0.99. This will be the new preorder price. I’ve been assured by Amazon that anyone who preordered it before the price change will pay the lower price, but if you find on release day that you’ve been charged the original price, please contact Amazon and share this page with them: https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US/help/topic/G201499400

I have also taken a screenshot of my chat with Amazon.

In other news, Spun Out has a tag line!

Next month you’ll get to see the cover, blurb and tropes!

But until then…

She was the mystery woman I kissed after I ran away from my F1 career. Now she's my assistant, the only person who knows my secret, and I want her more than anything…

I’m so excited for this book release, I might scream!

You can pre-order the Spun Out e-book here.

Street Team

I’m starting a street team!

To be part of the team, you'll be asked to share and/or engage with my Spun Out related posts to help me reach more readers. It will be for the build-up and release of Spun Out, but I may have it for other books in the future.

Highlights of the Year

This has been a fantastic year. It’s had its trials, as they all do, but there's been some amazing moments.

First, a massive thank you to you. At the beginning of 2024, I decided that if I didn't have a little success I’d give up writing books whenever I finished my tenth book. Success didn’t mean huge publishing deals or becoming a New York Times Best Seller. At the time, I’d had less than 2000 page reads in three months for Stalling in Love.

But you continued to support me in unimaginable ways. You changed my life and gave me the confidence to keep writing, keep trying, and put myself out there. Instead of giving up, I released more books. Don’t underestimate the impact you have on others' lives and how you can give someone the chance to reach their dreams. You’re pretty fucking awesome, and I hope I’m not the only one to tell you that this week.

Here are my 2025 highlights:

  • I released Start Your Engines. How exciting was that rollercoaster? It’s had so much love, and I’m more grateful than you know. It will be one of many F1 romance books.

  • I also released the final book in my debut series. Fake a Chance on Me is my rugby romance with a disability rep. To know that more people are learning about a rare genetic syndrome through Fake a Chance on Me, while falling in love with Lucas Knight, fills me with a warm glow. And now it feels right to say goodbye to the Bulls rugby team.

  • I released a free novella called Ready or Knot. It might not be free forever, so get it on Bookfunnel now.

  • I wrote two new first drafts - books ten and eleven. I guess I’m not finishing anytime soon then… I also edited two other books. 2026 will be a big year. Watch this space!

  • I went from 170,000 page reads in 2024 to, at last check, 1,800,000. That’s more than a million than last year. It blows my mind, especially as I was giddy with last year’s numbers. This year was beyond anything I’d experienced as an author in the nine years before, and I will hold onto it like a prize I don’t deserve.

  • I attended my first event as a romance author - the HEA event in Liverpool. I was lucky to meet lots of romance readers and authors. I did a pop-up event in Cardiff where I talked about my favourite subjects – writing and romance books – and I followed this with an online event and the Indie Book Fair in Oxford. Bring on next year with even more events!

  • I started a new “day job” to fund my writing lifestyle. Little did I know that it would give me the opportunity to meet professional sportspeople and Paralympians. There really is inspiration at every corner.

  • I got my Rebecca Chase banner made so I could take something to events, I had a Coulter F1 Racing T-shirt and hoodie printed and commissioned my first character art. You can see what I meant by writing lifestyle!

  • I attended my first British Grand Prix as a plus-one for my husband, who is a marshal. It was the first time we’d camped together, and we survived! It also gave me the opportunity to sashay about in my Coulter-branded clothes, take lots of videos, and stand agape when I stared at the track at the end of the Friday and saw George Russell ride by on a scooter with Kimi on the back. Inspired? Totally. But also, I just had the best time as a racing fan.

  • I reached over 2k Instagram followers and started YouTube and Pinterest accounts.

  • Other highlights include voice notes and chats with many of you, trips to car cafes, ice hockey matches, rugby games, including two Women’s World Cup rugby games, getting my second neurodivergent condition diagnosis and spending time with my friends, family and my pets.t were your highlight

The Stand-In by Liz Leiby

Alexis and Seth are just friends.

Alexis LeMarche only has eyes for one thing: getting into Yale’s Ph.D. program. But senior year of college is hard enough already, without the pressure from her mom to get a “ring by spring”—a distraction she doesn’t need.

While Alexis is avoiding distractions, Seth Cameron is looking for one. Despite his desire to be an actor, he’s expected to go to law school—a future that’s been planned for him since birth. So when the opportunity to be Alexis’s fake boyfriend for Thanksgiving comes up, Seth is eager to accept the role of a lifetime.

But as the lines between real and fake start to blur, Seth’s long-held feelings reach a boiling point that he can’t control.

With the friendzone crumbling, Alexis clings to her grad school plan—which doesn’t include falling in love. Can Seth go from stand-in boyfriend to the leading man of Alexis’s heart?

Quite the Pair by Kathryn Kincaid

She’s the feisty figure skater he can’t resist. He’s the rugged former hockey player who gets under her skin. Together, they’re quite the pair.

Isla Covington is ready for a comeback. Losing both her pairs skating partner and her marriage last year crushed her, but she’s never surrendered to a challenge. She’s determined to prove everyone wrong about her reputation as a difficult ice queen and climb her way back to the top of the podium.

Wes Davidson is a notorious grump, but he’ll sacrifice anything for the people he loves. After the devastation of his divorce five years ago, Wes prefers his single life, running his business, playing hockey with his friends, and holding his family together.

Until Isla enters his life and partners with his figure skater brother.

Now, she’s sitting across from Wes at family dinners, skating in his rink, and invading his simple life. He hates that he can’t get enough of her. Isla won’t allow her intense attraction to the unfairly hot man to distract from her goal, but Wes’s smoldering glares and quiet strength test her discipline.

It isn’t long before their bickering turns to flirty banter, affection, and an irresistible heat that burns every time they’re together. When cracks begin to form in the walls they’ve built to protect themselves, Wes and Isla face the hardest decision of their lives: to open their hearts to love or continue to run from it..

Quite the Pair is released on 26th February. You can preorder it here
