What do you think?

Fake a Chance on Me ebook and paperback will be available from Amazon on 26th September here - just before the final of the Women's Rugby World Cup.

Fake a Chance on Me dedication

As you may realise from the dedication below and other information I've shared on my socials, Fake a Chance on Me features an FMC with a medical condition. For Gabi it's a gynaecological syndrome. Many gynaecological conditions and syndromes aren't talked about in the media so this is one of my ways of raising women's voices and experiences. As this dedication suggests, this book has themes many people who have struggled through illnesses and medical conditions can relate to. They can impact someone socially, emotionally and when it comes to relationships, which is what Gabi the main female character experiences.

Instagram News

I have an Instagram channel! This is something new for me, it's where I may share up to date news that can't wait for a newsletter and snippets of upcoming books. It's also where I will ask for your thoughts, for example, I'm currently struggling with a name for a future male character and the title of my next bodyguard romance. I'll be asking for your thoughts in the future in this channel. To join, go to my IG page on your phone/tablet and click "Rebecca Chase Book News" which is under my linktree. You can join from there.

More Character Art?

YES! I've never commissioned character art before and now I have two pieces.

This is from Start Your Engines and is a little NSFW. It was created by Kloe Bennett (IG: @inkbykloe)

I hope to sell both these pieces and a couple of others I'm commissioning for my next F1 romance directly soon.

Speaking of which, I shall announce the title and the release date of my next F1 romance in this newsletter next month. As always, you'll hear it first.

Teach Me to Fly: A Dark Ballet Romance by Tanisha Headley

She came home to escape her demons.
He’s never stopped feeding his.
A match made in...ruin?

ANGELIQUE
Trauma always leaves a mark, and mine is buried deep beneath scar tissue and muscle memory. I fled New York to escape the ballet world that broke me—and the man who ruined everything—swearing I’d never dance again.

But Imperium isn’t New York. They’re here to challenge the rules, starting with a darker, grittier Swan Lake retelling with an Odile who finds her own redemption.

I’m partnered with the boy I once knew…except Reign Harrington isn’t a boy anymore. Now he’s a man filled with quiet rage, and too many secrets.

And somehow, he sees straight through my façade.

As we dance a story too close to my own, I find myself coming undone all over again. Because healing isn’t linear, and surviving might not be enough.

REIGN
I was raised to lead Imperium. To dance until my body breaks, and to carry a legacy I never asked for. I dance because it’s expected but I play the piano because it’s the only way I know how to breathe.

When I play, I see her. Always her. The girl who once kissed me like I was someone worth staying for. I’ve composed entire symphonies just to survive missing her.

And now she’s back.

Angelique Sinclair—too fragile to touch, and too broken to stay.

Watching her dance feels like breathing for the first time in years, so I make it non-negotiable: I’ll dance Swan Lake, but only if she lets me stay in the guesthouse with her.
Close enough to stop her from disappearing.

Close enough to teach her to fly.

Space Crush: Houston, Ignitions Are a Go: a panty-melting, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy novella

by Sara L. Hudson

NASA safety specialist Kaley Parker embraces protocol. Systematic rules and regulations keep astronauts on Earth and in space out of harm’s way. They also safeguard her own heart.

That is, until a co-worker makes an excellent case for spontaneity with an after-hours kiss.

Systems engineer Evan Mitchell loves thinking outside of the box. His creative approach helps him analyze, evaluate, and build NASA’s next wave of space exploration technology.

Too bad it fails to help him figure out why a certain safety specialist is ghosting him after their impromptu make-out session.

Between Kaley’s on-going risk assessment and helping Evan out of an unstable situation due to his original approach, Kaley figures her strict adherence for standard procedures is well founded.

Especially when she’s left publicly exposing more than just her feelings at NASA’s Youth at Work festival.

But when Evan’s unconventional thinking rescues her from an embarrassing situation, and the balance of risk versus reward tips in the heat of their embrace, can these two finally achieve mission success?

Or will protocol declare failure as their only option?

*Space Crush is a sexy NASA workplace romcom featuring an optimistic Lunar Rover engineer living his best life who falls first for a no nonsense safety specialist who may or may not need rescuing from a moon bounce and a wardrobe malfunction.

You can buy Space Crush here.
