Happy Independence Day from Lukaya, Friend, 

An Independence Day Talent Show gave an opportunity for the Secondary School students to shine. From costumes to the transformation of the examination hall into a theater, the event was full of creativity.

The show opened with interpretations of the poem "Our Independence, Our Talents, Our Future." Some students performed solo, others in groups. Each brought their own style to the words:

"We sing, we dance, we create.
Our talents brightly shine."

Next came interpretations through song and dance of the theme of unity. Two local secondary schools joined as special guests, adding their own performances to the celebration.

The energy, the color, the pride—Uganda's future was on full display.
