Happy Friday, Friend,

Nurse Miriam is often called Musawo—a word that can mean doctor, nurse, midwife, health worker, medic... It's a title of respect, and Miriam has certainly earned it! She has also earned many other names: Mum, Adopted Mum, Friend, Madam, Daughter, Sister, Auntie...

Miriam spends many hours in the clinic every day, caring for students and staff alike—even on Sundays after she attends church. For many of us, just a visit to her clinic is enough to make us feel better.

Fun fact: Miriam enjoys watching cooking shows on TV and is eager to try new foods.

Gratefully,
Elaine
P.S. Miriam's care is one part of the larger care that helps Mustard Seed students thrive. Another essential part is plentiful, nutritious food. Your gift of $13 can provide breakfast for a student. Click here to give.
