Good morning,  Friend, 

I came upon this scene on my way to school one morning. The little girl has a package in one hand. She was probably sent by her mother to fetch something from one of the local shops. 

In some ways, this, like many things in Uganda, reminds me of my childhood — although I had shoes on my feet and a safe sidewalk to walk on. No helicopter moms here. Still, I want to sweep this little one up and enroll her at Mustard Seed Nursery School. I'm so grateful that many children do have that opportunity – thanks to you.
