About the Song:
I wanted to create a song that was devotional in nature, but fiery and rebellious in spirit. Something that could make people feel inspired, not just spiritually, but physically - through rhythm and dance. Mixing mantras with dance beats and powerful, passionate vocals, the effect is immediate. “Avatar” blends the sweet voice of Daisy Lewis with my own raw vocal power to channel desire, passion, and deep energy. It’s like meditation with a kick drum — mantras you can dance to.
The process of creating Avatar was a true labor of love. The idea struck late one night like a lightning bolt! While creating a beat, the mantra and the melody came to me all at once and the song was born. I felt the pull to fuse the spiritual essence of mantra with the fire of dance music in a bold new way. The track opens with the ethereal chant of “RAM,” an ancient seed sound that activates the solar plexus chakra, our center of personal power. Ram is also the name of a revered deity in the Hindu tradition: the divine-human incarnation of Lord Vishnu. His story inspired the song's name, Avatar.
In the mythology, Ram's journey to rescue Sita symbolizes the inner quest to reunite the masculine consciousness with the feminine soul… a path to wholeness echoed in yogic and esoteric traditions. By chanting “Sita Ram,” we invoke balance between the feminine and masculine aspects of ourselves. Embedding this into a powerful, danceable track is my way of making ancient wisdom accessible to everyone in the modern age.
I’ve spent nearly a year shaping Avatar, letting it evolve until I felt it was truly ready. I set out to create something new - a spiritual pop anthem that’s both a banger and a blessing. Listeners keep telling us “it’s a hit,” and the chorus tends to stick in your head, in the best way. After all, if you’re chanting “RAM” all day, you’re raising your vibration without even trying. 🙏
