Chance to Join the Festival Team!

Hello Friend,

The Cambridge Film Festival is made possible by the dedicated people who bring it to life each year. We are now recruiting for our Festival Internships, and applications will be closing soon.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain firsthand experience of how a major film festival operates. Interns play a vital role in helping the team prepare for and deliver the Festival, from supporting events and welcoming filmmakers to working with audiences and partners. It is busy and exciting, and no two days are ever the same.

Interns become part of a supportive team that shares knowledge, encourages innovative ideas, and ensures everyone feels included. Many of our past interns have gone on to careers in film and the arts, and all of them talk about the confidence and friendships they gained from their time with us.

As we prepare for the 44th edition of the Festival, we are once again offering a range of internships and providing motivated individuals based in the Cambridge area with the opportunity to contribute to the planning and delivery of the Festival.

Internships for 2025 are being offered in the following areas:

  • Festival Production & Hospitality

  • Marketing & Outreach

If this sounds right for you, please apply soon. If you know someone who would benefit from this opportunity, please share it with them.

Cambridge Film Festival is presented by Cambridge Film Trust, a registered charity with a mission to foster film culture and education for the benefit of the public, in Cambridge and the Eastern region but also throughout the UK

By becoming a Friend or Patron of the Cambridge Film Festival, you support not only the UK’s third longest-running film festival but also a year-round programme of activities and events bringing the best British and independent international cinema to Cambridge.
