Writer-director William Nicholson’s sensitive drama features Annette Bening and Bill Nighy as a together-forever couple navigating the choppy waters of married life. Grace and Edward, married for 29 years, live in a small seaside town near a cove under the cliffs called Hope Gap. When their son Jamie comes to visit for the weekend, Edward tells him that he plans to leave Grace, that day. There are no villains in Hope Gap; only good people who’ve lived too long with old mistakes.

"Hope Gap doesn’t feel overly stagy or talky, a compliment to Nicholson’s confident, muted handling of what is a reliable, albeit overused dramatic narrative: the dissolution of a marriage. There’s no showboating among the cast, and even the film’s few monologues have a relaxed naturalness. A cantankerous widower, who lives a lonely life in the Mexican desert, receives a call from his estranged daughter, an undocumented immigrant in the US, who desperately needs his help. Faced with the possibility of losing her children to the NY foster care system, she decides to send them to live with him while she fights for her American dream and citizenship. This heart-warming tale reminds us of the unconditional bond of family, and how the innocence of children can touch the most hardened of hearts.

Ten Londoners and a dog. An uncommon story on common ground; Here for Life marks the culmination of a long collaboration between film-maker Andrea Luka Zimmerman and theatre-maker Adrian Jackson. The cast dance together, steal together, eat together; agree and disagree, celebrate their differences and share their talents. They cycle, they play, they ride a horse. The lines between one person’s story and another’s performance are blurred and the borders between reality and fiction are porous.
Nominated for a Golden Leopard at the London Film Festival.

Streetkids United 3 is the empowering story of nine Indian girls who are chosen to represent their country at the Street Child World Cup in Moscow, Russia. The girls, who all had a rough start living on the streets where they faced abuse and violence on a daily basis, are an inspiration to everyone who meets them because of their positive and uplifting spirit.
Meet Street Child United, the people behind the Street Child World Cup, as well as the Streetkids United 3 team and some of the young people that took part and hear more amazing stories as part of a special Q&A following the screening.
