Chance to Join the Festival Team!

Do you know a young person who loves film and wants to develop their voice as a writer?

The Cambridge Film Festival, in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University, offers a mentoring scheme designed explicitly for them.

Reel Voices offers participants the chance to attend the Festival with press accreditation, publish reviews, and learn directly from industry professionals. Through one-to-one mentoring, workshops, and practical writing opportunities, young people gain the confidence and skills they need to take their first steps in film journalism.

The scheme is open to anyone aged 16–30 living in Cambridgeshire who has an interest in film, regardless of previous experience. It’s about enthusiasm, potential, and a willingness to learn.

If you know someone who would be interested, please share the opportunity with them. It could be the start of a creative journey that shapes their future career.

Cambridge Film Festival is presented by Cambridge Film Trust, a registered charity with a mission to foster film culture and education for the benefit of the public, in Cambridge and the Eastern region but also throughout the UK

By becoming a Friend or Patron of the Cambridge Film Festival, you support not only the UK’s third longest-running film festival but also a year-round programme of activities and events bringing the best British and independent international cinema to Cambridge.
