» A Word of Thanks

BJS LogoA huge "Thank You" goes out to everyone who took the time to attend the Richard T. Crowe Memorial Dinner on Friday, November 1st. The second annual dinner held at Sawa's Old Warsaw was held by Joann and Barbara Crowe. Hope to see everyone again next year!

Members of the Brookfield Jazz Society wish to thank everyone that has come out over the past year to support live jazz in Brookfield. Its important to come out to attend the live jazz events as fewer places host music of any kind these days. The Brookfield Jazz Society will host their Annual Holiday Party on December 12th, which is only available to BJS Members, however the regular schedule return again in January.

(They also received a discount
off of their next meal)

Stephanie B. from Villa Park:
[Favorite Entree] Potato Pancakes are my favorite by far!
[Quality of Service] Always great
[Other Comments] Sometimes I go up to have more meat carved and have to wait, look or notify a server that no one is there to carve
[Server] Can't Remember

Russ & Geri K. from Riverside:
[Favorite Entree] The Shrimp and Cod on Fridays and the Mushroom Soup
[Least Favorite Entree] The hand carved beef, too rare for us
[Quality of Service] The server was polite & service was good
[Other Comments] Not really, I enjoy the restaurant.

Suzie W. from Darien:
[Price Comparison] Prices are so good, how do you stay in business?
[Favorite Entree] Sauerkraut Pierogies, potato pancakes, fried chicken, homemade Polish sausage-oh wait! I was only supposed to name one. Sorry, can't do it!
[Staff Comments] Don't change a thing. The girls are all really good waitresses. I like when the cooks come out sometimes too, to see if something needs to be filled. I get a chance to compliment them on their awesome cooking!!!
[Other Comments] To the guy that wrote in you should change your décor, well, I think he is dead wrong. If you want a yuppie bar, go somewhere else. I LOVE your décor... I feel like I'm at a wedding reception and don't have to bring an expensive gift. The hanging curvy thing on top just amazes me every time I look at it. PLEASE don't change the décor...it fits perfectly with the buffet.

Charles B. from La Grange Park:
[Price Comparison] Perfect
[Favorite Entree] Fried Chicken
[Quality of Service] Excellent
[Other Comments] The food is great
