Subject: Pines Policy COVID-19

Attention all Pines Members:

We are all aware of the COVID19 virus and the immediate threat that it brings, The Board of Directors and our Department heads are all working to make your home away from home the safest place possible. As Mother Nature has been so kind to us and allowing us better access to the golf course, we want to make you aware of some of the IMMEDIATE policies that we are implementing to keep our members, staff and guests safe. In an effort to keep our members healthy and safe, the following PRECAUTIONS ARE  REQUIRED AND EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.

1. If you have symptoms of the Corona Virus stay home until at least two weeks after your symptoms have subsided, even if you have tested negative (the test is just a snapshot in time). Obviously if you choose to expose yourself in public spaces, you are assuming the risk of doing so.

2. All Pines group outings including but not limited to the seniors, legends, women’s and men’s groups are cancelled until further notice. No group outings or gatherings are permitted at the Pines until further notice. We will reevaluate this as circumstances change.

3. That being said, for those wanting to play golf, we are implementing tee times immediately, you must Call the Pro Shop in advance to secure a tee time. This includes walkers. In an effort to keep distanced, we are scheduling tee times every 16 minutes instead of 8. This will eliminate the need to congregate in larger groups around the putting green and driving range. (Driving range won't officially open until April 1st) If you choose to ride a golf cart, all charges will be billed to your account. No cash or credit card payments will be accepted.

4. Avoid entering the Pro shop as much as possible, we are trying to limit the number of people and exchanges. If you must enter the Pro Shop, please do so one at a time.

5. We strongly encourage one member per cart. Staff will use disinfectant wipes to clean steering wheels, seat cushions and hand grabs after each round.

6. If you use a score pencil take it with you when you finish your round.

7. Do not touch flagsticks. Leave them in the hole. Use your gloved hand to remove your ball from the hole.

8. Rakes will be removed from the course for the duration of the Corona outbreak. Lift clean and place your ball in the bunkers/traps.

9. No gatherings on the practice green. Maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from others on the practice green and on the course. Remove balls from practice green holes with your gloved hand.

10. Driving Range will open on April 1st, Practice range mats will be marked to assist users in maintaining a distance of 6 feet from one another.

11. Do not enter the office. To conduct business with office personnel do so telephonically or via email. Either mail or place payments in the office door drop box.

12. Use bathroom facilities one at a time and maintain a distance of 6 feet from one another in the locker rooms.

13. The restaurant will open for business when health officials tell us that it is safe.

Please keep in mind that we have many older and physically at-risk vulnerable members who utilize our course and facilities. Your adherence to the foregoing will help protect you and them. Ultimately, we are each responsible for our own and one another's safety, so use your best judgement. Thanks for your cooperation in advance.

Obviously, the above is subject to change if the situation warrants. I have no doubt that we will weather this storm by working together to ensure everyone's good health. If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns please call Steve at (304) 541-4596 or Russell at (304) 661-1121. Best,
