| | | | Dear fellow Pines Country Club member,
Recently one of our longtime members, Rich Hillary, suggested that our club consider painting the exterior of our club house white to match the brick columns on both sides of the entrance roadway. Your Board believes that this suggestion has merit and would significantly modernize the appearance of our clubhouse. (See the above rendering)
The Pines Board would like to undertake this project but, does not want exceed this years budgeted expenditures. The cost to modernize the exterior of our club house by cleaning, preparing surfaces and painting would be approximately $6,000. The Board has challenged Rich and other interested members to raise at least $3,000.00 towards the total cost through voluntary contributions from members. If Rich is successful, the Club can fund the balance of the funds needed to complete this project.
For this reason, I am writing to ask you and our fellow members to consider voluntarily contributing to this worthwhile project. You may do so by simply calling the Pines Country Club office at 304-296-3462 (Ext. 4) and asking that you be billed in your monthly statement for the amount that you would like to give.
