Phase ll of the pond liner is moving right along!
The purpose of this email is to provide members at The Pines with an update on facility planning and improvement. Nearly 300 of you responded to the facility planning survey in which you were asked to rank eight different potential projects.

The Board of The Pines has established a planning committee; that committee has reviewed the survey results, has preliminarily identified four projects, and is in the process of gathering more details and developing a plan for each of them. The committee has also reviewed a multi-year financial projection of the club for both the general operating fund and the capital fund. The four projects are as follows:

- Expanding and improving practice facilities, including the development of a short-game practice area.
- Expanding and improving pool facilities.
- Replacing the halfway house.
- Addressing facility needs at the cart barn.

Subcommittees (of the planning committee) have been identified for the above projects. If you have any interest in participating in the process or being a member of one of the subcommittees, please contact the business office at The Pines.

The goal is to have preliminary plans, including cost estimates, for each of the above projects completed by the end of March. Furthermore, the goal is to have each of the projects completed by the end of 2021.
