Format for Both days 1 Best Ball of 2 –85% of handicap (The tournament committee reserves the right to examine & reduce participants handicaps)
Men’s Division shall play from the Blue tees.
Senior Division shall play from White tees.
Ladies Division shall play from Green tees.
Balls will be played down (summer rules in effect). No Gimmies or Mulligans
Special Local Rule for Weekend Play:1) You MAY stand on the same line as your playing partner while addressing a shot.
2) You MAY fix aerification holes on putting green.
3) 1 Ball rule is NOT in effect
Mulched area left of #18 is part of the golf course and the ball is to be played as you find it. Rule 28 (Ball Unplayable) is an option.
If your ball comes to rest in the gulley’s on #6 or #7, play the ball as you find it, there is no relief!!
Penalty areas are defined by red and yellow stakes and lines. Out of bounds is defined by white stakes and Stroke and Distance penalty is in effect.
Any questions play two balls!!!!! – Tournament Committee’s Decisions are FINAL!!
USGA Rules are in effect
Distance measuring devices are acceptable – Devices that measure slope/wind are NOT permitted and are grounds for disqualification.
Skins Included for Both Days – Gross and Net in each division (Skins are just in the division you play in)
Pace of play will be monitored - If you fall out of position – first incident warning, have 2 holes to return to position. 2nd incident – Team will be assessed a 1 stroke penalty.
We will be utilizing the golf genius software and phone app as well as printed score cards. We will require 1 member of each team be responsible for downloading and posting their individual and team scores during the course of play. Score cards need 2 signatures and should be turned into pro shop at the conclusion of play.
Tee times Saturday (Make your own group and tee time), 9:00 Shotgun for Sunday’s play!! For Sunday, pairings will be based on Saturday’s results. The Professional staff will determine the groups based on their team handicaps. The First in/Last out system in place for ties.
Men’s Division will have Gross and Net Winners
Seniors Division will have Gross and Net Winners
Ladies Division will have Net only Winners
There will be a playoff for 1st place in Gross and Net Overall with the playoff beginning on the 18th hole. (If necessary, order of playoff will be ladies, seniors, gross, net) If there is still a tie after the first playoff hole, we will alternate between 10 and 18.
In the Event of bad weather, Saturday’s Scores will determine the Overall Winners. If Saturday’s round is cancelled, winners will be based on Sunday’s scores.
