March 24th Update to The Pines Country Club Family

Good morning everyone!! As many of you are aware, Governor Justice yesterday issued all non-essential business to cease operation as of 8:00 this evening. In the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak, social distancing seems to be without a doubt our greatest weapon to defeat this epidemic. We are going to do everything we can to do our part to help fight this outbreak and in doing so, still maintain the best possible scenario in our love for our great club, members and our staff. Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25th we are instituting the following procedures that will help everyone comply with our state mandate.

1) Clubhouse is now closed to non-employees. We regret that we won’t have bathrooms or a food and beverage operation, but this is in the best interest for the health and safety of everyone.

2) Tee Times are MANDATORY – Walking or riding you must have a tee time. We will be using 10 minute intervals and still requiring that a 6 foot distance be maintained. 

3) Members ONLY – Please during this critical period, do not invite any guest out. We have limited times and space, and if we are to continue to do our part, this is a small inconvenience. We will extend the option of purchasing $45 guest passes past April 1st, and give everyone plenty of opportunity to bring friends, family and clients out to the club during the year.

4) Bag room is unavailable for bags, pull carts, and electric carts. For those of you who currently have equipment in the bag room, you are more than welcome to leave it, but if you wish to use it during this time, please come get it and store items in your cars or homes. The Bag room will not be open on a daily basis.

5) Carts will remain available. We will continue to wipe carts with sterile wipes and our staff will use latex gloves. We HIGHLY encourage you to bring your own wipes too. One (1) Rider per cart, except for family members living in the same household. ALL carts will be member charged, no credit cards or cash transactions.

6) Hours of operation:
a) Pro Shop – will be open 9:00 am – 5:00 pm daily we will have a member of our staff in the golf shop from 9-5 daily. Carts will only be available during these hours. All carts must be returned by 5:00. 
b) Office – The office will be taking phone calls M-F from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Please mail in payments to 3062 Point Marion Rd Morgantown, WV 26505 before March 30th, unless you have auto pay set up, those credit cards payments will be processed on March 30th



Just like you, we are still waiting to find out timelines and future mandates that most certainly will call for a change in plans. We can only hope and pray that this will end sooner rather than later, and that everyone in our great community and state will be the least affected of anyone.
