The Best Golf of The Year!!!! Hi everyone!!! What an AMAZING golf course we have!!! If you haven’t been out lately, you really don’t know what you are missing. It is AWESOME!! Thank you Mike, Bobby, Gary, Bill, John, Tim, Bob, Alex, Jared, Jared, Alexander, Bob and Nathan.
As fall starts to creep in, I wanted to try and direct everyone’s attention to a couple things to make fall golf the BEST GOLF OF THE YEAR.

| 1) Pace of Play – Our Club’s goal is a 4 hour round. Let’s relate it to the speed limit on the interstate. Let’s say that you are on I-68 and you are heading down the road and there is a truck going 60 in the right lane, and someone passing the truck going 62 in the passing lane. Man does that make us mad!! “Get out of my way!” How many times have we said that? Driving 70 is not fast, driving 62 is slow. A 4 hour round of golf is not fast, it is the speed limit. You are more than welcome to drive/play slower, but just move out of the way and let faster groups through. EVERYONE will have a more enjoyable time. If you are a slower player, avoid the busier times. Be considerate of other players, and by all means, pay attention to your speed limit!!

| | 2) Greens – WOW!!! Best in the state. Thank you for your help in fixing ball marks and watching foot drag. One area that we are missing the boat is knocking the sand off your shoes before you walk on the green out of the sand traps. With a trail of sand prints on the greens, we run into issues with dulling mower blades, and pace of play. Players cleaning off the lines of their putts, when there shouldn’t be any sand tracks on the green, slow the pace of play down. Remind each other and don’t be a SAND MONSTER!!!
Keep making your tee times, fix your divots, repair your ball marks, raking the bunkers, and checking in with the pro shop before you play. We ALL want to make the BEST GOLF OF THE YEAR now!!!
