Subject: 04/11/2020 Pines Policy Update

Fellow members of the Pines Country Club;

This spring has been both beautiful and difficult at the same time for obvious reasons. It is likely to continue in the same vein for the near future. Given that, our challenge going forward is to comply with federal and state authorities and medical experts regarding social distancing and employee safety while at the same time making the golf course as accessible as possible for all our members.

In order to accomplish this end, we need strict compliance by our members with the following. Effective April 11, 2020 golf carts will be made available for use to our members with the following conditions:

• Before a member may use a cart, he/she must sign an ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RESPONSIBILITY  RELEASE,  AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY which will be made available on a table just outside the Pro Shop.
• Unless you are a member of the same household only one member at a time may ride in a cart.
BEFORE and AFTER using a cart, the member using the cart must disinfect the cart using an appropriate disinfecting agent which will be provided by the Pines Country Club, Inc., at a cleaning station set up in front of the Pro Shop.
• Carts will be brought up from the cart barn and returned to the cart barn only by employees using masks and rubber gloves.
• Members are strongly encouraged, if they are physically able to do so, to continue to walk the golf course in order to make the limited number of carts we have available to those members who are physically impaired.

Effective April 11, 2020 the bag storage room will once again be made available to members conditioned upon the following:

• The entry door to the bag storage room will be left open from 7am to 7pm daily.

• Storage of your bag and push cart will not be secure during the hours the storage room door is left open.

• Only one member at a time is permitted to be in the bag storage room.

• Employees will not be permitted to retrieve or replace golf bags, pull carts or electric carts for members.

Effective April 11, 2020 the Halfway House restrooms next to the number 5 tee box will be open for use by members. An appropriate cleaning and disinfecting solution will be provided in each restroom along with paper towels for the use, safety and health of members.

Should you have any questions regarding the above please contact Steve LaCagnin (304) 541-4596 or Russell Reid (304) 661-1121.

It is our sincere hope that the above changes will make the golf course as accessible as possible to our members while ensuring the safety of our employees, members and community.

Nonetheless to achieve both accessibility and safety we all must ultimately count on one another to behave responsibly and adhere to the use and safety conditions set forth above.

I thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

Sincerely,

Stephen M. LaCagnin, President of the Pines Country Club
