Endowment Fund Matching Gifts! - We talk a lot about large gifts and bequests from estates, but the truth is that even small gifts can have a lasting effect on an endowment fund. Even a gift of $10 adds to the corpus of the Fund and helps us to build up the interest we earn on the Fund.   In honor of her parents and Pilgrim, Pilgrim member Marian Azzaro has made the following invitation and challenge to the Pilgrim community: From now until June 19th (Father’s Day) Marian will match the first 20 gifts of $50 or more to the Pilgrim Church Endowment Fund with a $50 gift of her own.  (for a maximum of $1000). This is inspiring, Marian!   So that we can best track this, please use the “Online Giving” link on the Pilgrim Church and School webpage. Create your online profile (unless you have one already), and designate the “Church Endowment Fund.” Give what you can, give what you want and as a Pilgrim Family, let’s do this together to honor our fathers and mothers this year!
Gift Cards—Now that Spring is trying to appear, your gardens and lawns are looking for help!  Pick up some Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards, Target or Walmart gift cards before you head out to shop!  April also starts the bustle of weddings and wedding showers!  We carry cards for most of the usual bridal registries, such as Bed, Bath and Beyond, Amazon, Macy's, Crate & Barrel, Williams Sonoma (Pottery Barn) and many others. You can buy them to give as gifts or to buy the gifts- you can also use them on line!  Check the green sheet for denominations and contact Anne Barsano (312-972-9040 with questions. Send in an order with your child and the cards will go home the same way or you can purchase them on Sunday in the church foyer and Monday and Fridays in the school office. See you soon!

The last collection for Campbell’s Soup labels will be the end of May as Campbell’s is stopping the program. Please send in all of your UPC’s with the little box around it, by that time, even if you have to cut them off the cans, etc. Pilgrim obtains sports equipment with the labels!
