Subject: Where does God live?

Pilgrim Announcements
July 19th, 2015

Dear Friends,

This Sunday at 9:30 a.m., we will explore the fascinating question that reverberates throughout the scriptures... "Where does God live?"

We will also celebrate the teaching ministry of Mrs. Cheryl Saiki, who is leaving her teaching position after 30 years on staff at Pilgrim. We will acknowledge her with words of thanksgiving and prayers for her continued ministry in and beyond Pilgrim.

And we will commission our El Salvador team as they prepare to join 36 other Americans in a mission trip to work alongside hundreds of Christians in El Salvador.

See you Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

Pastor Kristian
El Salvador Send Off
Come to Church Sunday, June 19th as we say a commissioning prayer for our Pilgrim El Salvador Team and send them as a congregation with our blessings. The team will be accompanying The Lutheran Church of El Salvador with several ministries, including the Hope House Homeless Shelter, a Solar Energy project, planting churches among refugees, supporting children going to school, medical and dental ministry, the Farming Hope project (a sustainable farming project supporting the homeless), and marching in a prayer and peace parade on August 5th.

Like us on Facebook!
Hello everyone!   We are clarifying the purpose of our Facebook pages as we seek to improve our marketing and communication efforts.

“Pilgrim Lutheran Church and School”  is now our primary Facebook page for more frequent "day to day" posts about Pilgrim for active participants in the church and school.  You can also “check in” on this site and, when posting pictures online, you can post to this page.  Please make sure you like this facebook page.

The former page, “Friends of Pilgrim Lutheran Church and School” has now been changed to: "Friends and Alumni of Pilgrim Lutheran School"  to help us communicate with those who are no longer directly connected to the school through a current attending student, but who want to maintain a connection to the school.  Please direct our alumni, parents of alumni, former staff and friends of the school to this page.  Thank you!

Tuition Assistance Appeal
The time has come to lift up among Pilgrim families, members, friends and alumni our Tuition Assistance Campaign for the 2015-16 school-year.  In our mission to provide academic excellence with a heart, Pilgrim is blessed with many gifts from many people. Some have enough to pay tuition fully; some share gifts of service to offset part of their tuition costs. All have the desire to provide the best education possible for their children.  Please watch for a mailing to come out shortly, or, contact Principal Comella or Pastor Kristian for more information.
