A Coat Angels huge "THANK YOU" to the Pilgrim community for your overwhelming generosity to Coat Angels and their mission to keep kids warm. Our original goal was 65 coats, but with your donations we gave 115 COATS and over $1,500 in GIFT CARDS to Coat Angels for their last minute shopping needs. Way to go, Pilgrim! A special thanks goes out to Mrs. Andreen and the 7th & 8th graders who de-tagged and sorted the coats; our shoppers, Sam Doerfler and Jennifer Goolsby; and our Pilgrim Team--Carrie Goerne, Alison Hays, and Ted Hopton--for spending their day delivering coats to children...just in time for the cold temperatures. And a huge thanks to Lori Kraft-Shores for overseeing all this!
Hot Meals Coats—Our guests could use warm coats, hats, and gloves. Gently used or new items for adults can be dropped off at the Pastor’s office. Also, socks, underwear, and toiletries of all kinds are so appreciated. Not only are these items appreciated, they love the fact that we care enough to collect these items.
Thank You to Second City Quilt Shop for their cookie drive for our Hot Meals guests. The homemade, delicious cookies were most appreciated.
Way to go, Pilgrim Dad's! We raised $785 for Pilgrim School Technology at the Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, December 3rd! Way to go confirmation students and care ministry team! We assembled over 100 care boxes for those in need! It was a great way to kick off Advent!
Cinco De Pilgrim Raffle Fundraising - Thank you for all your donations!. With some last minute offerings, our total came to $24,900! We are only $100 short of reaching our goal. If anyone else would like to make a special offering in the spirit of our big annual celebration on May 5, we will be glad to accept it! It would be great if we could make $25,000 apart from all the other offerings and fundraising we are doing at this time of the year. We thank Tarah Dickerson for all her work to spearhead this raffle drive. God bless all of you!
HELP WANTED: Cinco de Pilgrim Volunteers! Help us plan an incredible spring party for the Pilgrim community this May - join the fiesta crew! We can’t pull off an evening like this without a LOT of help - there are jobs big and small, but this is definitely a TEAM effort. Questions or Ideas?
