Dear Friends,

join us this Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for a unique and uplifting worship experience.

Little known fact: The church calendar gives us the option of celebrating the birth of John the Baptist in June! So we're going to do it this Sunday! And the timing couldn't be better. We need the witness of John the Baptist at a time like this. He comes to us as one who
- meets us at the border of rich and poor, urban and rural, citizen and foreigner
- stands in the river of God's forgiveness and new life
- speaks prophetically and tenderly
- gives light in the darkness.
- guides our feet into the way of peace. (Lluke 1:57-80)

May we grow strong in the spirit as we celebrate along with Elizabeth, Zechariah, and all those ready for the joy and mercy of our God.

See you Sunday at 9:30 a.m.!

2018 Mortgage Campaign—We are using the account formally known as the Growing Forward Capital Campaign to continue to pay our monthly mortgage bill of $2,048. The 2018 Mortgage Campaign Giving is falling short of what is needed to pay the monthly bill. Thank you to everyone who is giving one time or monthly automatic contributions to the current 2018 Mortgage Campaign. We invite those who have not had a chance to give to this campaign to make a donation via check, with the memo saying "2018 Mortgage Campaign," or go to the giving page at and set up a monthly automatic payment. Thank you!

Windows Into Our Future—There are 30 classroom windows which face west along the alley. They are old, they are not energy/cost efficient, and they provide no sound proofing. We have set a goal to raise $85,000 in the next 11 months, and our appeal is to both school families and church members. We have raised $23,000 so far. We encourage both one-time donations and on-going monthly donations to this campaign over the coming 12 months. To give, visit and if you have any questions, please contact the school office at

Tuition Assistance Appeal—The time has come to lift up among Pilgrim families, members, friends and alumni our Tuition Assistance Campaign for the 2018-19 school-year. Please visit our Vanco giving page or write a check to Pilgrim and write”Tuition Assistance” on the Memo Line. Thank you!
