Join us this Sunday at 8 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. as we ponder one of the most refreshing and compelling characters in the Bible... John the Baptist!

We see him "crying out in the wilderness", yet he spent years in solitude in study.
He wears rough clothes of camel's hair, and yet he shares a Word that makes the rough places smooth.
He comes to prepare the way for Jesus, and yet Jesus comes to him to be baptized.

The witness of John the Baptist brings people back to God, then and now.

We will also be welcoming the Breckwoldt, Wood, and Denton households into worship!

And don't forget to join us at 4 p.m. for Caroling, Hot Chocolate, and Chili in the afternoon!

See you Sunday!

Between donated coats and monetary donations totaling $1,300, we were able to provide coats for 78 children--78 children who will stay warm this winter because of you. A special thanks as well to the Haycock family who joined in the evening of shopping, to the 8th graders for helping to sort and bag the donations and to Lori Kraft-Shores for heading up this worthy cause. Coat Angels was thrilled to receive this bounty!

Pilgrim Church Endowment News - For 2018, the committee voted to disburse a total of $13,000 among 20 different worthy causes providing food, support and relief services locally, nationally and worldwide. We disbursed just over 30% to Pilgrim Tuition Assistance. We disbursed just under 30% to National and Global causes, like the ELCA Southeast Michigan Synod (Flint, MI water crisis) and Lutheran Disaster Response which provides relief for domestic disasters like hurricanes and the California wildfires, and COSAD and Lutheran World Relief internationally. And the balance, about 40%, was disbursed to a host of local organizations, such as local food pantries, homeless shelters and a couple churches that engage in providing food and comfort to the needy. We would like to thank everyone for their continuing support of this important part of Pilgrim's extended outreach to our community and beyond.
