Dear Friends,

In a world filled with anxiety and hurry, God comes with an eternal promise to soothe us... "We will be with the Lord forever."

That promise, through faith, grounds us in the reality of God.

In the moment when we give thanks to God for Jeanne Valencia's life on Saturday, we will take comfort in God's forever presence.

In the moment of Grace Suhajda's baptism this coming Sunday, we will get to experience the joy of God's forever presence.

See you this Sunday at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Dear Pilgrim, it is with sadness and resurrection hope that we share that our dear sister in Christ, Jeanne Valencia, passed away on Thursday, November 2nd. Jeanne was a pillar of the congregation.

She served as the editor of the "Pilgrim's Progress" newsletter for many years, served as a parent to many children, served on various service boards on the local and national level, and was a strong, wise, and faithful servant of God, with a HUGE heart of love and compassion.

Please pray for her sons Jason, Raymond and Jonathan, her son-in law Collin, and all of her friends and family at this difficult time.

The family invites you to a memorial service in her honor on Saturday, November 11th at 1:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. The service will be held at Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
