Dear Friends,

Happy New Year!  We are so excited to grow with everyone in this new year.  We invite you to join us this Sunday at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

I have had the privilege of being able to travel since Christmas Day.  Together with my wife and children, I traveled to Minnesota to see family and then to Florida for some recreation.  We are on the way back to Chicago today.

This contrasts sharply with the way the Holy Family traveled following the first Christmas.  First,  they fled as refugees to Egypt, then, they returned to Israel, but to a new town named Nazareth.

But in the midst of this tumultuous time, they experienced God's dreams and journeys.

How might God be blessing us with dreams and journeys as we begin 2018?

Join us this Sunday as we reflect on this together!

P.S.  Please pray for Pilgrim member Carol Shogren, who is very ill and may be close to death.   We pray for her daugther Kathy and all her friends and family.  God's peace.
