Q: Where is this party happening again?
A: We’re headed back to Whirlyball Chicago (1825 w Webster), but this year we’ll be UPSTAIRS on the second floor. There are stairs and an elevator - follow the fiesta signs! Parking is plentiful in the Whirlyball lot.

Q: What time does everything start?

A: Check-in will begin at 7pm. You won’t want to arrive late, because there is so much to see and do in a short amount of time. Food and drinks and many opportunities to be the highest bidder await you! We’ll begin the Live Auction sometime around 9pm and have you on your way home (or to continue partying at the downstairs bar!) before 11pm.

Q: My kids really like bowling and laser tag. Can I bring them?
A: ¡NO!

Q: So I can’t bring my kids, but what should I bring?
A: If you’ve already reserved your free tickets and vaulted your credit card, then we don’t need anything else from you (other than your big generous heart…) If you didn’t vault your card when you RSVP’d, please bring one with you and we’ll enter it when you check in.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Whatever you want. Keep in mind that we’re having a par-tay… with music, and bowling, and laser tag, and beer, and a big room full stuff to run around and bid on. You might get so excited when you see your kid’s classroom project that you feel like jumping around and dancing! That being said, nobody is stopping you from whipping out your fanciest heels to go with your bowling shirt. Anything goes.

Q: I’m new. Can you tell me what will be available for me to bid on?

  • Susan Ryan Photos: timeless, candid, black and white photographs of your child 
  • Theme Raffle Baskets: tickets are $5 each or 15 for $50 (available at check in) 
  • Teacher Outings: purchase a spot for your child to share a special experience 
  • Silent Auction: tickets, classes, camps, gift cards, tastings and tours 
  • Live Auction: trips, vacation homes, concert tickets, and more! 
  • Hosted Parties: purchase the opportunity to have the time of your life! 
  • Fund-a Need: give directly to Windows into our Future 

Q: What will happen at the end of the night? How do I get all of my stuff?
A: We will NOT be running credit cards and giving out receipts at the event on Saturday night. As you can see, there are a LOT of moving pieces at this fiesta - we want to double check that everything is entered properly into the system before charging your card. You’ll be able to leave with your child’s photo, theme baskets (If you’re a lucky winner!), and possibly your child’s classroom project (depending on the class). We will have a table set up in the office next week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning before school (8-9) and after school (2:30-4:00). You will be able to pick up your silent and live auction items, and we will be able to print you a final receipt. Church folks: you’ll be able to pick up your items and receipts at church on Sunday, May 13th.

Q: This is a lot to remember. I don’t even feel like partying anymore
A: Come have a good time with us on Saturday night. There will be plenty of people there to answer your questions and show you the way. We’re going to put the fun in fundraising (I couldn’t resist.) I promise that we’re doing our best to make all of this logistical stuff as painless as possible. We’re looking forward to fiesta-ing with you tomorrow!
