Dear Friends,

Join us this Sunday as we celebrate Reformation Sunday with both tradition and Spirit-led creativity. Just as Martin Luther drafted 95 Theses for the church in 1517, our confirmation students have drafted 9.5 Theses for Pilgrim in 2016! Curious? They will be presenting them on Sunday. We will also be blessed by offerings from our school chorus and the Harmony Choir.

See you Sunday at 8 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.!

It's not too late to join us tonight (10/28/2016) for the PTL Halloween Party. Also, we invite you to join us at the North Center Town Square (4100 N. Damen) at the North Center Halloween Family Event tomorrow (10/29/2016) as we reach out to the community at our booth. 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

SundayChildren Participating in Worship—It's Reformation and this is one of the Sundays we invite all children to participate throughout the service with their families. Research affirms that children worshiping (and singing) with their parents is among the most powerful predictors to forming lifelong faith. We will not be holding Sunday School today, but our nursery remains open for children for younger children. Sunday School will resume on November 6th during the 10:30 a.m. service.

Altar Flowers Sunday are in celebration of Wilbur Hoffman’s 103rd Birthday, given by nephew Gerald Hoffman.

testimonies, and energy offered at our GPS Fall retreat! God is growing a special ministry here in this place and in our people. As we took the time to reflect upon what it looks like to Gather, Prepare, and Send leaders, people immediately started inviting others to serve, and many of those invitations were immediately accepted! (Bread bakers, assisting ministers, greeters, and readers, among other roles) Special thanks to our treasurer Michael Dooley and our President Michael Suhajda for their hospitality with delicious food and drinks. Thanks to Anna-Kari and Betty Ramos for preparing the beautiful stained glass picture gifts for everyone in attendance.
