Introducing Raven and her side-kick Robin

Dear Friend,

One of the most wonderful things about The Purple Ink Cafe is the way it engages the imagination.  Running a virtual cafe is a lot more fun and far easier with virtual staff. In the last issue of A Splash of Ink we introduced you to Pierre. In this issue we want to highlight the beautiful Raven.

Raven is our coat check lady ... but this title doesn't do justice to her role at the Cafe.  She has the most wonderful smile, warm and welcoming; a smile that reaches her eyes and extends out to you. She radiates compassion and friendliness. She has never been heard to say a word but sometimes words aren't necessary.

Raven is there to take your coats and bags, your to do lists, worries, tensions, even physical pains. First and foremost she prepares you to enjoy your time at the Cafe so you can be fully present and engaged with creativity.

However there may be things that you would rather not take back. In these instances Raven repurposes them in a positive way.  We were curious just how she did this and that is when we discovered Robin! There's just no end to the magic here at The Purple Ink Cafe!

Robin works behind the scenes.  Perhaps there is a dumbwaiter that sends the unneeded and discarded items to where Robin can collect them. She washes them and hangs them out, finds a new home for them or puts them in the recycling bin. We'll let you know more as we get to know Robin better ourselves.

How might your Raven look when you step into The Purple Ink Cafe? Here's what we see. It was interesting to see how similar she looked to both of us.
She is beautiful and peaceful. Her presence is a balm.

But, how she looks doesn't really matter. What's important is how she makes you feel and all that she takes off your shoulders. She enhances the vibe at the cafe.

You haven't met her yet? Well, the staff has been encouraging us to try new things. They are all so wise. As a result, here are two occasions to visit The Purple Ink Cafe and meet Raven on your way in.

Check them out below.
