Dear Friend,

have you heard the great news, yet? ...

Yes, ... no? Well, let me break it to you: ... finally, Namibia has received good rain, ... YESSSS!!!

Let us tell you that that's a HUGE relief, for both the people of Namibia and also for the wildlife, who desperately awaited it.

'Cause with the arrival of the rainy season, EVERYTHING changes.

Nothing is like it's been during the dry season ... not the sky, not the landscape, not the animals' routine or behavior ... and thus not YOUR experiences in Namibia.

Let us in on what is truly different, and let's talk about Etosha today.

The precious rain changes the Park entirely. Within days of a magnificent storm the dusty plains transform into lush grass savannas and the many puddles of rainwater remind of a water world.

This new paradise means heaven on earth for Etosha's wildlife, ... but for some visitors to Etosha it can be utterly disappointing. "We've seen nothing", we hear them say, "it's been boring on our game drive"...

In our view this disappointment is the result of two things:
1. expecting the wrong nature scenes for this season.
2. not knowing, looking for and therefore not experiencing the true miracles that the rainy season holds.

If you expected to see large concentrations of game around waterholes, typical scenes of the dry season, then yes, you'll be disappointed, that's for sure.

But when you know what treasures the rainy season holds and you look a little closer, you'll love this season too, we promise.

And here is THE BIG REVEAL:

The most precious secrets the rainy season holds are ....
the BIRTH and UPBRINGING of thousands of tiny lambs, foals, calves, cubs & pups.

We know that the new earlings are easy to overlook, because 'Mothers United' are clever creatures :-). They hide, shelter and protect their offspring to keep them safe, of course.

But since we know you mean no harm, we let you in on the secrets of how you will find them and have you're most wonderful wildlilfe encounters in Etosha, ever ...
