it's been quite a while, but today I am back with a few exciting news. First and most important of all, I hope and trust that you and yours are healthy and 'kind of okay' during these challenging times.
With all the craziness going on, I want to cheer you up with some good news. Here are a few:
Good news 1: If you are one of the many true Namibia lovers, who are desperate to visit Namibia again, this might be your time, because: !!! Namibia has opened its doors to international tourists again !!! However, currently there are a few conditions, e.g.
>>> travellers must present a negative Covid-test, not older than 72 hours upon arrival (in English language)
>>> travellers must present a full travel plan.
As these regulations may change in detail, it might be best to look up the latest on Covid regulations on the website of your embassy in Namibia. |

And last, but now least, I would like to introduce you to something good that came out of corona. While in lockdown in April I started to write a novel ... and completed it a few weeks ago. It's called 'Nashorn Nirwana' and it's a humorous travel novel with a serious thread about poaching that is set - of course - in Namibia.
At the moment the book 'Nashorn Nirwana' it is only available in German - but I wanted to let you know in any case. It will published and for sale soon - at the end of November 2020. So to all my German fellas: be ready for an extra-ordinary fun story playing in Namibia's grand wilderness. In any case, I will let you know via email, when the book it's available. PS: Some of the poceeds will go to Save The Rhino Trust in Namibia. |
