We are pleased to announce that our new managing director is Ms. Kisha A. Brown, Esq. Kisha is a member of cohort 2013 and is the founder of Justis Connection, a legal tech company that connects individuals & businesses to the best lawyers of color in the DMV. Please welcome Ms. Katherine Garcia as the new PGCSIF intern. She is a senior at Bowie State University majoring in criminal justice. On Friday Nov. 15, 2019, Katherine had the honor of facilitating a forum discussion with high school students for State's Attorney Aisha Braveboy's (c/o '12) Youth Justice Reform Symposium. Our aim has been to connect the amazing talent living in the County and through our collective resources collaborate around new ideas in order to create change. Support visionary work by making a donation for #GivingTuesday! Join the effort to increase investment in local people who are doing amazing work in Prince George's County.

The Prince George’s County Council convened the final session for Legislative Year 2019, on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Among the actions taken were: Executive Appointments Confirmed; Authorizes Small Cell/5G Regulations; County’s Animal Control Ordinance Updated; Enacts new Fair Housing Law; Enacts Several Zoning Bills.
