Seasons Greetings Forty’s,
As you know the Prince George’s County Social Innovation Fund’s (PGCSIF) Forty UNDER 40 initiative brings together some of the County’s finest. Over the past six years we have recognized two hundred and forty brillant and young leaders. We have created opportunities to establish a strong network and brain trust.
Recognizing and highlighting the talent that lives in Prince George’s County is the first step of our broader approach to have a positive impact on our beloved county and to support generations to come. The PGCSIF continues to activate this talent by providing opportunities for creative exchanges like A Seat at the Table, Community Impact Strategies Projects; specifically a “Hackathon”, and Innovate Prince George's all this while also doing our part to create a non-profit/advisory board service pipeline built of Forty’s. This is what we mean when we say we build social capital and serve as a catalyst for social impact.
As a previous Forty UNDER 40 inductee, we have two asks of you. First we are seeking your assistance as we search far and wide within the County for inspiring new leaders for the 2018 cohort. Please look through your networks and consider submitting nominations. Please forward or click this link to submit a nomination.
Second we are asking each Forty that has not yet donated to the PGCSIF to donate between $10 to $40 to help us to continue to achieve our goals of having a successful Forty under 40 2018. That’s $10 a day for the next 4 days or $1 a day for the next forty days. All donations are tax deductible. Please click this link to donate now.
In order to continue to make the Forty UNDER 40 program a success we need your help! LET’S REPRESENT YOUR FORTY as we continue build this strong network of talent by adding the 2018 Cohort. Moving into 2018, the PGCSIF’s agenda endeavors to make Prince George’s County more economically stable thus producing stronger families and a stronger community. More information on that to come.
