Support PGCSIF's Spring Fundraising Campaign

Dear Friends, Family & Colleagues:

Please consider this special appeal to join us today as PGCSIF launches its spring fundraising campaign. As we move toward our 5-year Anniversary, we are reinforcing our commitment to where we started – deeper civic engagement and supporting people with early stage innovative ideas. In support of that, our goal is to raise $20,000 in 30 days.

We run an incredibly lean organization that is completely powered by small grants, donations, and volunteer time.  Your donations to the spring fundraising campaign will serve as a catalytic donation that will enable us to demonstrate the financial and social commitment that our stakeholders have to our causes and efforts. Please make your tax-deductible donation of $100, $50, or $25 today!

Beyond your fiscal gift, we ask that you share this message with your wider network of friends and colleagues..

Yours In Service,

The PGCSIF Advisory Board

FOOD TRUCKS… Prince George’s County is ripe to benefit from the food truck craze. Local restaurant options need to be expanded. The USDA recently designated certain portions of our County as a ‘food desert’ and County residents are looking for a quick fix (we drive out of the County every single day for them). The possibility to integrate food trucks with our expansive and beautiful parks system is a gold mine waiting to be discovered. PGCSIF is supporting the local legislation that is currently being considered to create food truck hubs throughout the County.  Join us in supporting this legislation by contacting your council representative and encouraging their support.
Forty UNDER 40 – 2016: Nominations open in July 2015! Stay tuned!
PGCSIF’s mission is to build social capital and invest in new ways of solving old challenges in Prince George’s County.
