Application for PGCSIF’s Forty Under 40 2019 Nominations Now Open!

PGCSIF is pleased to announce that nominations for 2019 Forty Under 40 Prince George's County are now open. Forty UNDER 40, recognizes leaders under the age of 40 who demonstrate personally and/or professionally their exceptional leadership in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Forty Under 40 is an opportunity to acknowledge and invest in this next generation of the County’s trailblazers. If you know of a Prince George’s County resident who is making an impact in the county, you can now nominate them for this award. Nominees must demonstrate achievement, commitment, and persistence in their respective professions and/or local community. Honorees will be selected in the following areas of achievement: Art and Humanities, Business, Education, Health and Fitness, Public Service, Science and Engineering.

Eligible nominees must live in Prince George's County and they must be under the age of 40 as of December 31, 2018.

Nomination Deadline is Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at 11:59 PM EST!

Global Entrepreneurship Week 2018 Spotlight on Prince George’s County Maryland

This week (Nov 12–18, 2018) is Global Entrepreneurship Week which is a free 7-day interactive celebration that showcases exciting local innovation and strengthens connections. Designed for entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs, #GEW2018 educates aspiring & established founders alike on best practices, addresses common struggles and showcases regional access to the dynamic network of resources and investment. Inncuvate and the PGCSIF through its Innovate Prince Georges platform is taking the lead on putting a spotlight on the Prince George’s County Maryland entrepreneur ecosystem. A number of Prince George’s County Institutions will host a variety of engaging sessions with experts and provide an overall roadmap of what tools and potential opportunities exist to continue to unite the county’s makers, dreamers, and doers.
